Boathouse Policies

  • Please keep your boat slip clean and maintained.
  • Keep slips free and clear of tripping and other safety hazards.
  • No Glass Bottles of any kind in boathouses.
  • You are responsible for securing your vessel to the boat slip. Please take precautions to make sure your vessel is tied properly.
  • No batteries, gas cans, propane or other flammable materials allowed. Dangerous materials will be removed at Boat Owner’s expense. Fuel cans are not allowed on Boathouses.
  • Fuel should be purchases from a Licensed Fuel Dock, or trailered to a gas station on land.
  • Fish cleaning is allowed in designated areas only. Fish remains shall be disposed of as posted at designated fish cleaning areas.
  • No docking in vacant or unoccupied slips. Only vessels registered with the Marina shall be permitted in the slip assigned to that vessel.
  • No commercial operations allowed at Lighthouse Marina without prior written agreement with Marina Office.
  • Place all trash in the receptacles provided.
  • No modifications to slip/boathouse without prior written approval from Marina Office. Prior to beginning any work, all contractors must chek-in at Marina Office.
  • No running, jumping or diving from docks. No swimming in Marina traffic areas.
  • Children 13 and under should wear Coast Guard approved life jackets when on boathouses.
  • Any damage, theft, trouble, issues, boats sinking, structural issues with boathouses, safety concerns, other problems should be reported immediately to Marina Office.
  • Lighthouse Marina assumes no responsibility for personal injury or property damage.
